Child’s Posture is great posture for just letting go and enjoying life!  As adults, we often forget what it’s like to be a kid and just live in the moment.  Child’s pose encourages us to live in our joy by not being afraid to be silly and just have some fun.  This pose is actually a wonderful stretch for both the psoas in the hip flexors to release tension and anxiety, along with alliaving back pain (great for those who stand all day, work in an office setting or drive in a car for a long period of time).  By incorporating this fun-loving posture into your practice, you will manifest more happiness and a more lighthearted attitude towards all poses and situations both on the mat—and off the mat in life.
