My Zen Beauty Routine {ft. Deborah Lippmann, Coconut Oil, Pureology, etc)

When I’m not doing yoga, I like to indulge by nourishing my skin, hair & body with healthier?beauty rituals that make me feel beautiful & rejuvenated — while still connecting me to nature for inner health + outer beauty results that I can trust are good for me both in the moment AND long term! My current routine includes products like: Kiss My Face, Pureology, doTERRA, Aveeno, Burt’s Bees, Elta MD & Bare Minerals.

As part of my zen beauty routine, I had a self-care spa day yesterday (something I used to think was only for indulging and now aim to do this ritual once a week or biweekly at the very least, which I’ll blog more about this “abundance mind-set” at a later time) and got my nails done w/ formaldehyde-free Deborah Lippmann “healthy” nail lacquer??in a pale yellow.

Rather than rushing onto the next thing on my To Do list, I then consciously chose to relax in the spa looking out on the green, noshing on healthy snacks like raw nuts (ahem, & champagne hehe??). Then we had a relaxing, low maintenance date night (I wore yoga clothes & no makeup) out to sushi; followed by a walk on the beach acting like kids talking about our dream home on the beach, while getting my freshly painted toes all sandy (sand is the best natural foot exfoliator & callus removal!)??

Today I woke to beach waves after sleeping in all-natural coconut oil ? to deep condition my platinum hair & just finished applying my weekly natural skincare + haircare treatments (?tutorials on my YouTube) to keep my skin clear (I’m breakout prone), hydrated, glowing✨ and youthful as I grow through mommy-hood & this next chapter of our lives!

As a Cancer (my birthday is in July), I’ve learned over the years when I need to listen to my body, go within, re-center & zen out (shout out to all my water signs // astrology junkies who so get this)! For me, I’ve learned if I make this a weekly routine, it keeps me healthy, balanced & prevents me from feeling spread thin. As women, I’m a firm believer we MUST carve out time for self care (however you choose to define it) to prevent from running on empty.

I truly look forward to my “zen beauty” routine of self care rituals nourishing my mind, body, & spirit — which always seems to re-spark my creativity and of course my writing! Today I’m relaxing with our family (we were just chasing our little lady in the yard) and now after this post I can’t wait to jot down some of my creative blog ideas for you guys (which doesn’t even feel like work to me, because I love it so much)!

THIS to me is what Sunday Funday is all about… Sunday✨self care✨Day is what we should call it! So my message to you trubeautys… is seek your own “zen beauty” + creative rituals today. Maybe go that extra mile in your own beauty or health routine making you feel beautiful and revived! Perhaps tackle that project you’ve been putting off! You can get inspired with tutorials on my Blog + YouTube Channel for all things inner and outer beauty (Social icons at the top of blog) but above all — seek to nourish.

Rather than let another Sunday fly by, actually ALLOW YOURSELF TO ZEN OUT & just do what you really want to do, so you can wake up Monday feeling nourished (& ready for week #2 of my 21 Day Yoga Challenge, which continues tomorrow)! Us women have this tendency to self sabotage (don’t worry, I got your back and will guide you away from that over time). This is what the weekends are all about… so zen out & enjoy! xo Heath ☺️??? #redefiningbeauty #bePHYSICAL #beSPIRITUAL #beEMOTIONAL #trubeautyMOVEMENT
