What I love about teaching yoga is it forces me to peel away from my ambitious “Type A” side and reconnect to my creative spirit in such a profound way.
After teaching, I’ve created a bit of a ritual where I take a deep breath to pause in nature and look up at the stars ?? on my way home from the studio (before getting back to the house and back into “life”). It grounds me on so many levels!!!
All of a sudden that thing I was worried about before teaching, seems so minuscule in the big scheme of things! This image reminds me of that and I hope it grounds you this evening…
Let’s try this: Tonight when I post this image on social media at approximately 9pm EST, let’s take a break from our phones / socialmedia / electronics / homework / ..life & walk outside and just look up for a moment (right as I post this I’ll do the same)!!! How cool is that?! Now THAT is really connecting???✨?☄
